Musical Theatre Performance is an acting-based program with a strong focus on the Meisner technique supplemented by vocal and dance training. Performance faculty includes a plethora of Broadway Directors, Music Directors, and Casting Directors who are currently in the industry and leading a plethora of classes. From staple classes like MT Scene Study, Jazz 1, and Harmonies & Vocal Styles to fresh courses including Acting for the Camera and Commercial Hip Hop, well-rounded performers graduate ready for today's theatrical market.
Musical Theatre Performance
A dance-focused, blended program that allows captivating dancers to hone their craft while cultivating vocal and acting skills. Taught by Broadway and commercial dance choreographers, and Broadway dance captains, MT Dance Performance is incredibly rigorous and physically demanding. This program offers a balance of strong vocal and acting course loads. Additional preparatory coursework includes Gymnastics, Acting for the Camera, and a voice-over course for well-rounded performers ready to work after graduation.
Musical Theatre Dance Performance
This two-year undergraduate program is designed for actors who want to work in the Television/Film industry. Taught by New York City's leading acting instructors, casting directors, and agents, students will hone in on the necessary skills to build a stand-out career on screen. The Associate of Arts in TV/Film Performance offers an intensive curriculum with coursework like Acting For the Camera, Scene Study, Script Writing, and Acting for Commercials, among other courses.
