CAMPUS LIFE

The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts is an urban campus located in downtown Norwalk. The neighborhood is rapidly changing with a 12 million dollar City/State renovation of the neighborhood commencing in the Fall of 2024. There are several restaurants, cafes, and other services located amongst the NoCo buildings. There are several grocery stores, but Stew Leonard’s is within walking distance — and is featured on Ripley’s Believe it or Not for good reason! Norwalk boasts many public parks including a private beach for residents, a hop-skip, and a jump down the street. One of the most exciting resources for students is the East Norwalk Train Station located just minutes from all campus buildings. The train operates daily and takes passengers to Grand Central Station, New York City.

There are five buildings on campus used for classes depending on the student’s elected program/major. They are referred to as The Flagship, The Underground, GCA, The View and The Spot. All buildings abide by all local, state, and federal laws in regard to fire, safety, and health. The Fire Marshall has toured and approved all spaces. All buildings are accessible by key card access.

The NoCo Dormitories for first year students (Aspen Hall) are located on East Ave., a short walk from the main campus. NoCo dorms are only accessible to students and student advisory staff members. NoCo Dorms are unique in that they offer parking, recreational space, AND kitchens! Dormitories are located right along the Norwalk River. Second year dormitories (Blackwood Hall) is located on Isaacs St, less than 2 minutes from The Flagship!

Our school is proud to have built wonderful connections with some fantastic local restaurants that offer special discounted rates for our students and families. Click Here to see our list of restaurants.
