To apply to The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts, students must follow the steps outlined below. Any questions about the application process or requirements should be directed to the Office of Admissions.
How To Apply
Admissions
-
Applications open August 1. Submit your free online application by the deadline. We do not accept the applications submitted through Common App. Applications received after the deadline are reviewed on a case by case basis.
-
Once we receive you application, the Office of Admissions will reach out to schedule your in-person interview based on the preference chosen on your applications. Please note that the Conservatory DOES NOT REQUIRE PRESCREENS. We believe in the power of a live audition for a live art form, and therefore we give every applicant the opportunity to audition in person. We will accept virtual auditions/submissions for prospective acting for Stage and Screen students.
-
The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts requires an in-person audition for all applicants (with the exception of Television & Film Performance, these applicants have the option to audition/submit virtually). Students who do not schedule an audition by the application deadlines will have their application automatically rejected. For details about the audition process, please view the following resource:
